Free Naloxone & Overdose Prevention Trainings

We offer free naloxone (Narcan) and hands-on training in how to prevent, recognize, and reverse opioid overdoses. Our harm reduction volunteers show up at health fairs, community events, and anywhere we’re invited—with outreach tables stocked with supplies and trainers ready to help.

We’ll walk you through how naloxone works, how to use it safely, and what to do in an emergency. We also share info and resources focused on the health and safety of people who use drugs—no stigma, just support.

Whether you’re organizing a public event or just want to get trained, we’ve got you.

All Ages Education

SOAR provides age-appropriate education about harm reduction, substance use, and how we can navigate our relationships with drugs—and with people who use them—with care and honesty.

Not every age group needs the same information, but young people of all ages are often exposed to substance use in their families or communities. Stigma around drugs and the people who use them can make it hard to talk honestly–but these conversations are too important to ignore. SOAR volunteers can sharing tools and knowledge about what to do when we need help, how to stay safe, and how to save lives.

Interested in bringing this conversation to your classroom, youth group, or student organization? Let’s talk about how we can support learning around harm reduction, recovery, and treatment in a real and respectful way.

Party Safe

Whether it’s a concert, festival, rave, house party, or any kind of celebration, SOAR can help create a safer space for everyone to enjoy themselves and get home okay.

We show up with:

  • 💧 Water & hydration support

  • 💊 Naloxone and overdose prevention supplies
  • 🩹 Basic first aid and wellness check-ins
  • 💬 Friendly harm reduction volunteers who aren’t here to judge—just to help
