Naloxone Outreach and Trainings
SOAR members also distribute free naloxone (brand name: Narcan) at regular monthly events and train community members how to recognize and reverse an overdose. Reach out to become a trained lifesaver or help us give out supplies and train more people. You can find the next event here.

How to Become a Lifesaver
SOAR WV’s goal for WV is reducing overdoses to zero. We can do it together! Our Lifesavers program supplies Charleston area businesses with naloxone and trains employees to administer the drug if someone nearby has an overdose. We also provide your business with a “We Carry Naloxone” sticker to challenge stigma and make sure people know. Join and become a Lifesaver!
